CodeCaddie for macOS is available as one universal ZIP containing the signed and notarized app for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Download the latest release below, or build the developer edition.

No CodeCaddie or GitHub account is required for public downloads. Live analysis requires a supported provider CLI installed and authorized separately; provider charges and policies may apply.

Install on your Mac: Open the ZIP to unpack it, move CodeCaddie.app to Applications, then open CodeCaddie from Applications.

Building it yourself?

A contributor can build and install an isolated developer edition without replacing the stable app:

cd codecaddie
pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
pnpm install:local

The developer build keeps separate application data. Provider authentication remains with the provider’s own installed CLI. See the guide for validation and uninstall commands.

The macOS app download is CodeCaddie-macOS-universal.zip. A source archive is not an installer. See the build prerequisites before building locally.
